Installation Dinner 2021
A fine time was had by all at our annual installation dinner. We accomplished a lot of business: installation of new officers, and many awards were conferred. Congratulations to our graduating seniors and Rotary scholarship winners. Congratulations to the first time ever husband and wife Citizen of the Year awardees: John and Linda Naples. Thank you for all that you do for our community. Additionally, congratulations go out to our very own Tim O'Brien who was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow and Rotarian of the Year, a more humble Rotarian is hard to find. Finally, Sheriff Jeff Smith was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow for his work during the pandemic.
On a side note (side by side?) congratulations to our raffle winners:
First prize went to Mike Kelly of Amsterdam; second prize went to Brian Sisco of the Town of Florida and third prize went to Patty Johnstone of Sharon Springs who generously donated her prize to the Montgomery County Office of the Aging for their meals program. The real winner was our club because our event was a sell-out this year thanks to your generosity. These funds will enable our club to continue to support our mission in the community. Thank you all for your participation.
